2018 HONDURAS TEAMS

  • GUAimaca (June 9-15)

    This is a surgical team led by Dr. Thad Jackson to the BMDMI hospital in Guaimaca.


    Team members needed:

    While much of the team is made up of specialized medical personnel, team members are still needed to fill the important job of cleaning instruments and carrying out other non-specialized tasks.


    Donations needed: Financial contributions or donations of small toys to give out to children are welcome.

  • San nicolas (June 12-19)

    This is a medical team led by Jamie Lane to the village of San Nicolas.


    Team members needed:

    - Kitchen coordinator

    - Medical personnel

    - Children's ministry

    - Youth boys/girls ministry

    - Evangelism-focused educators for topics such as first aid, personal hygiene, mother-baby care, women's care, and more


    Donations needed: small toys, family pack items (soap, washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.)

  • El Guayabo (June 12-19)

    This is a construction team led by Scott Kerr to the village of El Guayabo.


    The main project is to install a solar-powered water purification system. Smaller construction projects, such as pouring floors, will also be completed this week.


    The main goal is to provide clean water to the community to improve the health and overall well-being of the villagers.


    Donations needed: The main need for this trip is financial support. The cost of the water purification system is around $8,000.
