Affordable Christmas is an opportunity to serve our community by providing assistance with Christmas gifts for kids. Participating families invest in the program through a small fee, and they are then able to shop for gifts for their own children.
There are several ways to get involved, from donating gifts to volunteering to work on shopping day at a host site. Find more info and sign up below.
Parents must sign up to shop at Affordable Christmas through the Family Resource Coordinator at their child's school. Space is limited.
Affordable Christmas shopping days are Saturday, December 5 and Saturday, December 12.
Valley Creek will not be hosting this year, but we are proud to partner with two host churches: Grace Heartland and Stithton Baptist.
Valley Creek's primary focus for Affordable Christmas this year will be collecting toys and other items to stock the shopping locations. All donations will need to be dropped off at either Valley Creek campus by December 1 at the latest. Here is a list of suggested items. Remember, gifts must be new and unwrapped.
Valley Creek is helping out by providing child care for the Grace Heartland site. We also need volunteers that would like to help sort the toys as they are collected.
