The GRPH is coming up soon for the Valley Creek Student Ministry, October 27th at 5:00pm, starting at the South Wilson campus. This is a long-running tradition and a ministry favorite. If your student would like to be a part or you would like to help with the event, contact email@example.com.
This year, Valley Creek is encouraging members to show love to their community by welcoming trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Yard signs are available at both campuses. Sign up on Sunday between services.
Valley Creek will be sending a mission team to Honduras on November 9-16 to remodel a casita at Good Shepherd Children's Home. The cost is $2,000 to go, and donations to fund the project are welcome. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that provides a shoebox gift and presents the gospel to children around the world. Valley Creek members are encouraged this year to pack a shoebox as a family and bring it in the week of November 18-25. Valley Creek South Wilson will serve the central drop-off location for the surrounding region, so volunteers are needed/welcome to be a part of preparing the donated boxes to be shipped.
Valley Creek is partnering with local organizations to present Affordable Christmas, an event that allows parents to come in and purchase gifts for their children at a fraction of the cost. Valley Creek will not be hosting the shopping day this year, but we are collecting toy donations until December 1st! Click here for a full list of needed items.
